Volunteer: East Boca - Kitchen Facilitator (Monday - Saturday Morning Shifts)East Boca – Kitchen Facilitator (Monday–Saturday Mornings) Help prepare fresh, nutritious meals for individuals and families in our community! As a Kitchen Facilitator, you'll work alongside our kitchen staff to support Boca Helping Hands' Hot Meals Program, which serves thousands of meals each year. Volunteer responsibilities may include: Assisting with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Helping prepare and cook meals under the direction of our Kitchen Lead. Washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and maintaining a clean work area as assigned. Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Working as part of a team to keep the kitchen running efficiently. Assisting with kitchen cleanup before the end of the shift.Requirements: Volunteers should be comfortable working in a commercial kitchen environment. Basic kitchen skills, such as chopping, slicing, and food preparation, are helpful. Must be able to follow directions from the Kitchen Lead and work as part of a team.Dress Code: Closed-toe sneakers or tennis shoes are required (no Crocs, sandals, or slip-on shoes).
