Financial Assistance and Children’s Assistance Program (CAP) Screener

 

What We Do

 

 

Conduct interviews with clients to determine eligibility and assess the need for financial assistance with rent, FPL, water, and childcare.

Requirements:

  • Conduct client prescreening phone interviews and schedule appointments
  • Conduct in person interviews and assess eligibility for assistance
  • Prepare written case reports
  • Adhere to the Financial Assistance Program and CAP guidelines
  • One day weekly commitment. Monday – Friday from 12:30 pm-4:00 pm
  • Comfortable remaining seated for long periods of time

Skills Needed:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented reporting skills
  • Basic computer skills for data entry into the Customer Relationship Management system. (CRM). CRM training will be offered
  • Bilingual language skills are helpful (Spanish, Creole or Portuguese)
  • Experience in financial management or banking a plus, but not necessary
